Kenady recently read "Bridge to Terebithia" and despite the sadness of that book she was able to gain something positive out of it. How to make your own backyard Terebithia.
This is Terebithia, according to the Nacey kids. Our backyard is way cooler than it was in Wyoming and as a result the kids spent hours out there "exploring" and nurturing Terebithia.
The pine straw is what people around here use instead of grass, and there is a plethora of it.
This is on our back porch, we were dying Easter eggs and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

And this is what you can catch in Terebithia, and then just set it on the floor in ktichen. Teag thought that was a good idea. I wasn't so sure.

I love it when kids get creative, except maybe when they bring creepy, crawly things in the house. :) Looks like you guys are having tons of fun in NC!
Awesome backyard! And isn't it so fun to see all your kids playing together? Mine have started doing that lately, and I'd like to just pause my life for awhile, it's so fun! Glad you're doing well. Good luck with the baby!!
