Pictures!

So here are the pictures to go along with my last post.  I slaved over that cake forever.  Unfortunately, the picture I got it from looked a lot better.

This is the ultimate movie party.  We don't have any couches upstairs yet so I just pulled every pillow and blanket onto the floor and everyone just laid around.  They actually had a really good time.  Every once in while you would hear a boy yell, "Quiet girls, I can' t hear!"
This is Teag doing acrobat tricks for the party.  Why waste money on a clown when you can use your children for entertainment?
This is just a funny picture of the girls trying to box.  If I ever learn how to use my scanner I'll have to put a picture of Josh boxing with his twin brother when they were little.  It is so adorable.  Clearly, the girls do not know what they are doing.  They were doing more giggling than boxing.
Just a random picture of Teag.  It looks like he cares for laundry just as much as his mother!

Kenady's Birthday and more

Kenady turned 6 on the 20th.  I can't believe I have a 6 year old.  She is such a beautiful little girl and she has a such a sweet spirit.  She is loving kindergarten and doing awesome.  Her teacher told me that she is already reading on a 1st grade level.  We, of course, were so proud of her.  She always tries to be nice to everyone, which if you know the politics of kindergarten, isn't always easy.  She is a great big sister and a great helper to me.  We love her so much!

For her birthday we had cake and ice cream with some family and friends.  After cake and ice cream, the idea was that she would have 6 or 7 girls that were her age that would stay after and watch "Thumbelina"  the new Barbie movie that she got for her birthday.  6 or 7 girls turned into 17 or 18 kids of all ages (and genders) that wanted to stay and watch.  I was surprised at how well they all watched it and paid attention.  I think some of the boys may have been into it a little more than some of the girls.  It was pretty funny.  It was an easy way to do a "birthday party."  No games, no treat bags, no pinatas, just eat cake and ice cream, watch the movie and go home.  Perfect!

It was a fun night and I hope she had a great birthday.  I wasn't able to upload any pictures today for some reason.  (Maybe because it is a white-out blizzard in Rock Springs right now)  But I will post the pictures for this event as soon as I can.
