Photo Shoot without Mom's knowledge

This is what happens when your kids get a hold of your camera.  They perform their very own photo shoot.  I walked into this craziness and these two were having a grand ole time taking pictures of one another.  There were probably about 40 pictures on my camera.  Thank heavens for digital cameras.  My mom would have killed us back in the day if we would have used up all her film.  Film?  That is almost an ancient word.  (My mom just joined the digital club at Christmas this year.  She was still developing film after all these years.)

And yes I let my children dress themselves especially on Sunday's after church since we don't go anywhere.  Kenady's outfit isn't too bad, but Presley has on quite the ensemble.   She is sporting the nastiest princess shirt she could find in her drawer and you can't see but she even has shorts on over her tights but under her skirt.  Fashionista?  I think so!

My kids are soooo cute!  I love them!

Teag's Blessing

Teag was blessed on January 4th in Rock Springs WY.  We were lucky enough to have almost both of our entire families come to support us.  It was a lot of fun to have everyone come to the blessing and then to dinner afterward.  It was so nice to actually have room for everyone as well.

Grandma Stella brought over his blessing outfit only to find out that we couldn't fit him in it.  I told her that it was fine and we would somehow get him in it in the morning.  She was not satisfied and went off to the mall (By the way, for those of you who don't know, the mall in Rock Springs hardly deserves to be classified as a mall.) I told her that I was pretty sure that she wouldn't be able to find anything at the "mall."  But lo and behold she found a different outfit at Herbergers ( basically the only store in the mall) that was 3-6 months size instead of 0-3 months.  So long story short, we got an outfit that he could fit into.  This one was even a little short.  I guess I have really long and tall children.  I'm OK with that though.

Thanks to everyone that make the trip and all the support.  We love you!

Don't they look handsome?
I love this picture.  He kinda looks like an old man.  Its like the Curious Case of Benjamin Button!

And don't you love how his little ear pokes out.  Like father, like son! ( Apparently Josh has a pokey ear.  I've never thought so but all his siblings and Mom and Dad can sure attest to it.  He must have grown into his ear over the years.)

Late Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.  Ours was very nice.  I'm a little slow with the Christmas blog, but here is a picture of our three little ones on Christmas morning.  They were very pumped to get a kitchen set and Littlest Pet Shops.

We had an awesome dinner with our good friends Wade and Tanya on Christmas Eve and we had our little children try to re-enact the nativity while Josh read Luke 2.  It was very interesting.  We had a Mary, baby Jesus (Teag), a sheep, a donkey and a wiseman that kept removing his costume.  It was a little hit and miss, but I guess it doesn't have to be perfect in order for the kids to learn about Christ's birth.

We went to Salt Lake on Christmas Day and spent a couple of days with the Nacey family.  It was a good time.  I got to do a little after Christmas shopping at Tai-Pan Trading.  For those of you who don't know its an awesome home decorating store that has killer deals and beautiful decorations.  All of their Christmas stuff was 50% so I got a car full, including a new tree.  It is pre-lit, ( I feel like I'll be living the high life when I pull it out next year.  No more stringing lights around branches for me!  I can't wait.)

Josh got me a prized possession for Christmas, a treadmill.  I'm in heaven not having to bundle up the kids to go to the gym.  Its so nice!  Plus Josh and I started P90X this week, (come on, you've all seen the info-mercials).  I'm trying to get back into pre-Teag shape and Josh is humoring me because he's already in awesome shape.  So every morning we get to work out together and I love it.  Its a pretty hard core workout so I better start seeing some results :)
