We celebrated Valentine's Day very casually this year. The night before Valentines Day we made heart shaped pizzas for dinner. The kids were very excited about this. They each got to make their own. My kids are pretty easy in that category. There are only 3 toppings they will even consider. Pepperoni, olives and cheese. Doesn't take much to make these guys happy.

Making the pizzas.

The finished product. I have to say, aside from the oddly shaped hearts that I attempted to roll out, the pizza was very delicious.

The next morning the kids awoke to some valentines candies, along with valentines for each of them and coupons to get happy meals for dinner that night. They were beyond excited. Like I said, easy to please. Josh was gone for Valentines Day, but don't worry, he (I) did get me a box of chocolates that were eaten in approximately 1.5 days. Thankfully, they were not all eaten by me, although I did do some damage on the caramel filled ones.
Great Valentines Day for all, except Josh who was sleeping on the ground in the woods. He did say they gave them marshmallows that night around the campfire. Bonus!
